The following is a list of the most important changes and additions since version 4.61, if you have used a previous version of ImageViewer, it might be helpful to read on.
General
*Threaded: Perform multiple tasks simultaneously.
*Appearance savvy: Take advantage of future OS additions, such as themes.
*Interface: Changes have been made to both simplify and add new functionality(see below).
*TIFF CCITT G4 FAX: Now reads and writes.
Interface
* Transfer To: Now allows unlimited number of applications, Command-T will transfer to the last application accessed via the menu. Add/Remove applications in Preferences/File.
* Preferences/Display: Can check "Enlarge Image" to stretch image to window.
* Preferences/Image Display: Now allows multiple files when choosing patterns.
* Preferences/File: Add and Remove Transfer applications.
*Preferences/File: Must check "Use QuickTime Effects" or they will not load at startup(i.e. will be unavailable).
*View Menu: More %s are available and in a greater range(25%-1600%).
*View Menu: Removed single preview display modes.
*View Menu: All display modes consolidated to this menu(single image and list).
*List Menu: Removed "Apply/Save Order Index".
*List Menu: Removed list view modes(now in View menu).
*List Menu: Added Find. Can now create a sub-list based on criterion such as file name and keywords.
*Window Menu: Added Tasks Window, which shows descriptive information about currently running tasks.
*Window Menu: Info Window enhanced to show creator, compression and a preview, which can be toggled on/off.
*Document window controls: Added "Icon View" icon, removed slider and text message area.
*Document window: Now allows smaller minimum size.
*Document window: Full path name of currently selected file is shown at the top.
*Command-F: Was "Full Screen" now used for "Find".
